Gosakan Aravamudan, Founder, an inventor by profession, focusses on tackling our planet’s “grand challenges”. One of these challenges is making extreme density agriculture a reality. He completed his B-Tech from IIT Madras (Indian Institute of Technology), an MBA from Ohio State University, USA. He has worked in the United States in product development and product management for leading material science firms Corning Inc. and JDS Uniphase Inc. He returned to India and set up a factory in Bangalore with a focus on research in material sciences. He holds numerous patents in material sciences and manufacturing systems.
As a traveler, photographer, and father, Gosakan has witnessed firsthand the beauty and diversity of our planet, as well as the impact of human activities on ecosystems and environments. This exposure has deepened his understanding of the need to take responsible actions to protect the Earth for future generations.
Leveraging his background in material sciences and technology, Gosakan plays a pivotal role in developing innovative and sustainable solutions for food production. Advancements in sustainable agricultural technologies can increase food production efficiency while minimizing water usage and environmental footprint. Additionally, by striving to make food more affordable, Gosakan contributes to addressing issues of food access and inequality, which are significant challenges in many parts of the world.
